Extract Only the PDF Pages You Need

Select page ranges without sending an entire document.
Identify the page positions
A PDF viewer may call a page 7 even when the printed footer says 5, because covers and contents pages come first. This tool uses the page position in the PDF, starting at 1. Locate the needed pages in your viewer before entering a range.
Write a clear selection
Open Split PDF, choose the file and enter a selection such as 1-3, 5. This requests the first three pages and then page five. The output follows your entered selection order, with duplicate selections removed. Check your typing before extracting.
Keep required context
A smaller excerpt can be easier to read, but removing context can make a document misleading. Keep headings, definitions, dates and explanatory pages when they are necessary. For a formal submission, follow the requested page list exactly and do not remove required declarations just to reduce file size.
Verify the excerpt
The tool supports files up to 40 MB and rejects encrypted PDFs. Open the output and compare it against your selection, including the first and last pages of every range. Save it under a descriptive name so you do not confuse it with the complete original. You can later merge related PDFs if the recipient wants one bundle.
